My duties where: · Wound care · Catheter care · Feeding of patients according to the required diet and nutrition · Setting Dressing trolley and cleaning instruments · Lifting and handling patients , pressure area care · Toileting patients offering and cleaning bedpan, commodes and urinary · Damp dusting and sluicing and cleaning the sluice room Teaching or training the patients on infection control and personal hygiene also giving health education to mothers and emphasising on the importance of breastfeeding and mother to child Aids transmission.
